Normally I would suggest 12 and above, but there are some 10-11 year old kids out there who are mature enough to handle it. There is a lot of swearing in some chapters, and some scenes in the book made for older audiences. If your okay with your child reading some of those, then it should be fine. Overall it's a great series and it's a nice break from the usual stuff(less)
