Who is your favorite character that you've developed and why?

Kassandra Keator This really got the cogs turning! Not to sound cliche, but for several of my characters, I have considered them my "companions" throughout my life, especially in hard times. I feel like my "favorite" one changes depending on how I am feeling and what I am working on. I think, overall, Adelie Henderson has been one of huge importance to me because I based many of her experiences off my own and find myself viewing her as a reflection of myself, or at least as my inner child. Other characters, such as Owen Smit, or Ghedi from my future novel of the same name, challenge me to think outside myself and place myself within their shoes, personalities, and feelings. They allow me more of an escape from reality and push me to think/write outside the box of what I usually do, which I also enjoy!
