Goodreads asked Samantha Jo:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Samantha Jo I tend to get the opposite of writer's block, where I have so many ideas that I don't think I can get them down fast enough! The struggle for me is sorting through all the ideas that I have and trying to find the ones that are actually worth building a story around.

The few times that I have gotten writer's block, I step away from writing and find something useful to do with my hands. If I am painting, gardening, building something, cooking, etc., my mind naturally clears and after a while my creativity starts to flow again.
