Sounds silly, but making up stories! I love those moments when my mind is wandering through a world that I created, following characters that I birthed. When the story finally comes to fruition and I feel that it has a satisfying conclusion, it gives me a great sense of joy and accomplishment.
A very close second best thing is hearing how my stories have impacted other people. I am still a relatively new author, but when readers share the emotional journey they went on with my stories, it allows me to build a connection with them that I treasure.

I tend to get the opposite of writer's block, where I have so many ideas that I don't think I can get them down fast enough! The struggle for me is sorting through all the ideas that I have and trying to find the ones that are actually worth building a story around.
The few times that I have gotten writer's block, I step away from writing and find something useful to do with my hands. If I am painting, gardening, building something, cooking, etc., my mind naturally clears and after a while my creativity starts to flow again.
