(view spoiler)[I just finished the Parasol Protectorate series, including the short story about Alexia's father. I was wondering if at any point we'll learn what the connection between Leticia Phinkerlington and Mr. Phinkerlington at the BUR is? Or were you just checking to see if we were still awake? (view spoiler)[Oooo, look at you with the observation skillz! You're the first to ask. Yerp, you'll learn a great deal about it in one of the up coming Custard Protocol books. Most likely Imprudence, although I haven't written that one yet so it could change. (hide spoiler)]

I truly adore your books. Both of your main series delight me fully. The names and some of the character attributes. With the delightful way that you foreshadow and tie things together, is there any hope that we will be seeing more of our dearest Biffy? I do so love his character. After publishing the short about Alexia's father, is there any chance that we will get to see more of his adventures?

Hi, Gail. Thank you so much for introducing me to steam punk! I knew about it before from a book about making props (which was really cool), but I had never read steam punk fiction before. Now for my question. I thought it was really cute how Alexia calls Rue infant, did this start after they got home from Egypt when she realised her daughter might not like the name Prudence? Sorry if the answer is in the book. :P
