When should the Supernatural Society books be read? I've finished all of the Parasol Protectorate and the Finishing School series, but I don't know if I should/need to read Prudence first.

Prevailing opinion in my fan group is that everything should be read "in the order written."
However, if you are asking about chronology, then ROMANCING THE INVENTOR (Genevieve's book) follows events in the Finishing School series + Parasol Protectorate but before the Custard Protocol books.
ROMANCING THE WEREWOLF (Biffy & Lyall's book) is set in between IMPRUDENCE (Custard Protocol #2) and COMPETENCE (Custard Protocol #3) but doesn't reference events in either so it's irrelevant to those books.
POISON OR PROTECT is set after the Finishing School books, before the Parasol Protectorate.
