Sophia Zane If I could travel to any fictional book world, I’d want to step into the eerie corridors of Shirley Jackson’s Hill House not to solve the haunting, but to sit quietly in the dark and listen to what the walls have to say. I’d bring a notebook, a flashlight, and a very solid plan for getting out before midnight… but knowing me, I’d probably end up following a strange whisper down a hallway I was told to avoid.
