I have read both trilogies. I really enjoyed them. In Nona Grey, the scene of the test of the shield and the test of fire of the Abbess Glass was one of the most emotional moments I have read in a fantasy book. When you finished writing it, were you satisfied? Did you write it in one go? Or did you change it several times?

Hi Mark, I just finished Road Brothers, which immediately sent me to re-re-re reading Prince of Thorns. I won't elaborate (too long) on how big a fan I am, read and re-read all you wrote. Was I right to detect a "brotherly'' quip at a fellow writer in the footnote of Choices ? Something about the temperature of revenge ?
