Many questions, but I'll continue to leave the story related ones to my imagination, I think. I'm due a re-read, so perhaps after I finish more reviews. So, a question -- if you can say: Do you know of any plans for USA hardcovers of Broken Empire / Red Queens War to make a reappearance in original or some other format? Or anything like the Grim Oak Press volumes?

Mark Lawrence Hi Charles - I know of no such plans. Hardcovers are generally only printed in the year before the paperback comes out. You've got to buy them then or miss out.

Grim Oak Press currently has copies of The Red Queen's War special edition omnibus (hardcover obviously). They're going fast!

Hi Mark, First of all, I love your books! I love it that you mix (so well) science and fantasy (my favourite subjects). However, concerning The Broken Empire, The Red Queen's War & The Book of the Ancestor, I have to ask: why is it so that you place the story in a futuristic / post-apocalyptic world and you set it on a medieval environment?
