Well, a very common cause is constipation. Eating lots of candy keeps me regular, both on page and in the bathroom.
Another cause can be zombiszm. Because, if you have a terrible craving for brains, then probably your writing will suffer. When it happened to me, I made sure to take a multi vit.
All writers need to be able to maintain a sense of balance, because if you are unbalanced in your heels, you will not achieve foot harmony :D
