I typically buy ebooks, simply because of convenience. I can carry all the books I want to read everywhere I go. I loved Happiness Falls and A Planned Occasion. Do authors receive reduced royalties from ebooks? It is one question that I have had about reading primarily ebooks.

Mike, first of all, huge thanks for reading HF and APO, and for caring about authors' royalties! There's no simple answer, but I think it's safe to say that authors generally get more royalties from hardcover book sales than ebooks, paperback sales, or audiobook sales. But it depends hugely on the publisher, the specifics of each author's contract, whether the reader bought the book/ebook on sale, where you bought the book, etc., etc. I think most of us authors would say that we appreciate your buying our books (or borrowing from the library) in whatever format is best for you. Hi Angie - the review I left on Goodreads is the same one I tried to leave on B&N. They refused it due to "profanity". I have reviewed many books on BN.com with no problem, but this is the third one in 2023 which they rejected for profanity, which doesn't exist! I have reached out to B&N as to why? with no answer. I wanted to leave a great review, but couldn't. Maybe you can find out what the problem is.

Hi Angie! I absolutely loved reading "Miracle Creek" it kept me engaged the whole way through. How did your experience as a lawyer help you write the trial part of the novel and make both cases (for and against) so believable? Did you seek help from other lawyers or were the cases the two lawyers presented something you would prepare for an actual case? I hope that makes sense. Thanks!
