I loved reading Darkest Powers trilogy. I was just wondering how did you come up with the idea for these books?

Kelley Armstrong They were written for my daughter, who was 13 at the time. She liked paranormal books and I was already writing a paranormal series for adults, so I decided to do a "spin-off" series for readers her age.
