I just finished Where The Dead Sleep and am looking forward to the third book. But I wanted to know what happened to the nurse from the first book? He just vanished. I was hoping he and been would be together in book 2.

Joshua Moehling Hi James. Thanks for the question. It wasn't meant to be with the nurse. Packard's search for what he wants in a partner and a relationship (and whether he wants one or feels worthy of one) is an ongoing question across the books. Can't tie him down to one guy too early in the series. Spoiler alert: I wouldn't look for the drummer in WTDS in the third book.

No question but just wanted to say I loved "And There He Kept Her." What a great book. Doesn't hurt that it takes place in the great state of Minnesota. Born and raised here and it is the best. How many books do you think you will have in the series?
