I'm confused - which is the 1st book in the elemental series? Timeline looks like Elemental 1 first - logically it looks like Elemental 0.5. Help please as I'd like to read a good meaty series but don't want to miss "the beginning"?

I don't know if you're still waiting for an answer, but technically "Elemental" starts first chronologically, and helps give some insight into the characters in Storm. It takes place five years before Storm begins.

Were you at all inspired by the East of the Sun West of the Moon fairy tale when writing A Curse So Dark and Lonely? I know it is marketed as a Beauty and the Beast retelling but the two stories have some ties historically and your book reminds me a lot of some of the Norwegian elements so I was curious!
