Just Finished reading The Loop for english class, we now have to write an essay on why it should not be banned. Could you weigh in a little bit and give your opinion on why it should not be banned?

Hi Tyler,
Good question. I think banning of literature is never a good idea. Historically the banning of books has been done to oppress, and to withhold information. As long as a book is not purposefully misleading, or purposefully offensive, it should never be banned (and even in the aforementioned examples, these books should be available but with disclaimers and context as to why they were written and what their intended purpose was).
Books encourage free and lateral thinking, they are a form of free speech that should never be censored.
(sorry for the slightly late reply, I don't use Goodreads very often. I hope it wasn't too late for your essay.)

Hi! Sorry if this is really random, but I was wondering if you could answer a question i’ve been thinking about quite a bit; is The Kill Factor set in the same universe as The Loop? but like in a very different time (past or future) - i was wondering cause there are a few things I noticed in TKF which seemed like refs or parallels? I might just be reading into it too much haha but I’m really curious.

I don't necessarily have a question, I just wanted to tell you how much I've enjoyed reading both your books and I can't wait for #3, especially with the cliff hanger ending! I know this just came out, but any ideas on when #3 will be available? Thank you for hanging in there and gifting us with your unique (and horrifying) version of the future 😊
