Hi there.
There are some things going on in the background regarding a film or tv adaptation, but I’m not allowed to say too much right now. It might happen, but it might not - there’s always a lot of luck and timing involved, a lot of things have to fall into place at the right time.
I hope it happens though - I’d love to see The Loop on the screen.

Hello 😊 sorry it took so long for me to see this question, Goodreads doesn’t send notifications for these questions.
I’m so happy that you enjoyed reading The Kill Factor! It was one of my favourite books to write, and I love the characters.
I don’t have any plans for a sequel yet - but maybe one day, if I can think of a good way to continue the story 😎

Hi Harry.
Yes! There are a few subtle links between The Loop and The Kill Factor. (The drug known as Ebb features in both).
In my mind, The Kill Factor is set a few decades before the events of The Loop trilogy.

Hi Tyler,
Good question. I think banning of literature is never a good idea. Historically the banning of books has been done to oppress, and to withhold information. As long as a book is not purposefully misleading, or purposefully offensive, it should never be banned (and even in the aforementioned examples, these books should be available but with disclaimers and context as to why they were written and what their intended purpose was).
Books encourage free and lateral thinking, they are a form of free speech that should never be censored.
(sorry for the slightly late reply, I don't use Goodreads very often. I hope it wasn't too late for your essay.)

Hi Charlotte,
Thank you so much - I'm so glad you enjoyed The Loop trilogy! My newest book, The Kill Factor came out about 3 weeks ago, and I'm working on a new one for (hopefully) next year too.

Hi there,
I'm no longer agenting, unfortunately. I just didn't have enough time to commit to it properly, so I had to give it up.

Hi, Lisa,
The Arc definitely SHOULD have been translated into French. I'm sure that was the deal... Did you ever manage to get it?
Sorry for the VERY late reply. I don't use this website very often.

I'm so sorry for the delay in replying. I don't use this site very often, and I still don't know how it works.
I'd love to see The Loop trilogy made into film or TV, there have been a few discussions about it, but nothing concrete yet. (we're getting closer though, so maybe in the future...).

I love writing YA dystopian stories, and my next novel has similar themes! It will be coming out in April 2024 and it's called The Kill Factor!

Hi Kate! I'm so glad you enjoyed The Loop :) I'm working on book 2 right now. There's no official release date yet, but it should be announced quite soon :)

The best piece of advice I can give is to be persistent. I know how difficult it is to receive rejections over and over again (believe me, I went through it for fifteen years!), but those who keep trying are those who generally make it. Don't get me wrong, there's luck involved too: the right people have to read your work at the right time, but you only get to be lucky by not giving up.
