First off, thanks for the work. Your books are old friends. I just started rereading "Penric's Demon", and he's just getting to know Desdemona a bit, thinking about what was happening to him, and it came to me that one day I would very much like to read the story of Penric's first imprinting on the next generation. Posting that is the second most fannish thing I've ever done. >grin< Forgive me?

Thanks for being my good reader!
Re: Pen and the next generation, it depends on whether you mean his influence on his children and students, or what happens when he (eventually) dies, and Des attempts to jump to a new person. I am in absolutely no hurry to address that complex issue!
Children and students are rather more present in Pen's current time frame. Many possibilities there, too good to be jumped over.

I am catching up on last year's entries in the Penric and Desdemona series and am enjoying the pair's adventures in Lodi. Coincidentally, I came across this article today about clocks shedding chaos from ScienceNews: https://bit.ly/2SqTZkT. And of course I thought of our favorite sorcerer of the Bastard's Order. I wonder if Pen or Des would find it amusing?

I had a brief moment of panic when I saw an "outline" of the plot for gentleman Jole on wikipedia because there was a whole menage a trois storyline which feels so wrong for Aral and Cordelia. Then I saw someone had fixed it to directly quote you. I feel like the answer is yes, but were Cordelia and Aral monagamous throughout thier relationship?
