You have introduced many side characters that might be worth stories of their own. I am thinking of Miles' step son and Jin & Mina (from Cyroburn). Any chance you might doe something about them or the further adventures of Ivan Vorpatril? I think any of those could give a different perspective on Barrayar.

Nothing is promised, nothing is ruled out, but at present those ideas don't spark anything for me.
Readers often ask for more of the same, but I think in many cases that's not what they mean; what they are really saying is, "Give me a story that will make me feel the way that one did!" Which may actually be quite a different thing, but is much harder to articulate.
(Or, for all those fractal follow-ups, there's always Fanficwoman. To the rescue!)

In your review of Heaven's Official Blessing Vol 1, you had wondered which word was translated as "Jeeze!". The word was likely もう mou, which literally means an acknowledgment of a change of state, with a connotation of surprise. The translator of Ascendance of a Bookworm, Quof, defended "Geez" on J-Novel Club Forums. My questions are: Have you interacted with any translators of your work? If so, what was it like?

Happy New Year Lois. My question is that I have recently published my first book (Redemption My Father's Story) and I used Covenant Books Publishing. The editing is terrible. It's distracting to the reader. I just am at a loss of how to handle this and could use some advice. I know that they sent it to me for approval and I regret that. I'm in no way an editor and I told them that. Any thoughts, please?
