Not a question, just a comment? Loved your interview on the audiobook after Miracle Creek! As a fellow litigator, your comments about the fun and non-fun of trial work definitely resonated. I may be alone in wishing there was more of the trial included; bring on the objections! Seriously, though, great work AK on both MC/MS and HF. Looking forward to reading whatever you write, it's just that good!

Thanks so much, Greg! So glad you enjoyed the interview at the end of Miracle Creek. And haha, even my litigator husband said there were too many objections in the first draft, so I suspect even you might have gotten sick of all of them! Thank you again.

I heard you on NPR Weekend Edition Saturday with Scott Simon. I listen regularly, add books to my shelves, and connect with authors here on Goodreads that he recommends. I was drawn into your conversation with him about autism. I'm estranged now from my two teenage autistic boys, largely due to the toxicity between me and my ex-wife and their conditions. Do you think your book could advise me and shed light?

Hi Angie - I loved you book. It touched on so many issues we all deal with - or know someone who does: motherhood, and what is right and wrong and who is to judge; the depths we go to, to protect our children; the differences in cultures; etc. You came to the US at age 11. Did your father come with you or did he stay in Korea like Pak did? And if he did stay - what impact did that have on your life?

Was it difficult to write the ending? I loved it (even though I cried throughout the last 150 pages). Did you know you were going to have Mary's ending the way you wrote it? For me, personally, she was a sympathetic character. Lastly, thank you for accurately portraying the justice system w/rape cases - victims rarely get justice.
