The story of Matthew's birth is told in 'Lies, Damned Lies and History,' with a possible explanation for his affinity with Time, and continued in 'And the Rest is History.' I have occasionally toyed with the idea of a series of stories about him and Mikey, either told through the Time Police series or as stand-alones. The problem is - and I'm aware of the irony - I just don't have enough time - sorry, Time - to write everything I want. Hope this answers your question.
