Connie Suttle That’s a very good question, and here’s the answer. Every Larentii child begins as a complete embryo within the father. An egg is not required of the mother, who is basically a surrogate for the child. None of the mother’s DNA is given to the child, so technically, while she is the birth mother they are not blood relatives. Does that help you sort the relationship?
