Right now I'm working on a standalone sci-fi romance called STARFLIGHT. I pitched it to my editor as "Overboard" (an awesome romantic comedy from the 80's) meets "Firefly" (one of my favorite sci-fi series ever). It's about an orphan who indentures herself to a wealthy jerk in exchange for passage to a new world. But when his memory is temporarily erased, she convinces him that their roles are reversed--that she's the master and he's the servant--and then leads him onto a ship full of fugitives.
