How did you come up with the name Cara? It's my name as well and I've never met anyone else who spells it the same as me. I can't wait until Until Midnight!!! So excited!!

While researching Irish names and their meanings, I saw that Cara means "friend." Right away, I knew that was the perfect name for a girl who welcomes an alien into her home and then stands by him when things get tough. :)

Read Starflight as part of our high school's annual Kindle Tournament (it is like the March Madness of books). Loved it and cannot wait to read Starfall (2017 is so far away :-(). I am always looking for books to recommend to high schoolers. What made you choose SCI-FI as a writing genre?
