I am having trouble with writing sci-fi and I can't get go to my story write on it some more. Do you have any advice or tips or something? I hate writer's block. PS: loved Alienated and I can't wait for Invaded.

Hi James,
When I get blocked, it's usually because something is wrong, and my subconscious mind is preventing me from wandering too far off track. Most of my writer friends agree. My advice is to take a step back and figure out the problem. Is your pacing strong? Are the stakes high enough? Is there enough conflict? etc.

Hi Melissa! I'm a YA librarian in Massachusetts and I loveee your Alienated series :D I read that Hyperion is waiting to see how well "Invaded" does before deciding on a third book, but I was wondering if you would consider continuing the series by self-publishing ebooks through Amazon if they decide not to move forward with more books?
