How do you get inspired to write?

C.A. Clark Prayer is key! Many times I encounter writer's block, and find myself at a complete stand-still. Even though I have a general outline for each book in the series, the nitty-gritty details still can be difficult in formulating. In those moments, it's always a good reminder to stop and pray, and acknowledge God as the Divine Giver of every gift and talent I have--and, more importantly, to ask Him to lead and guide my writing. It never ceases to amaze me how quickly He always answers, making the book even better than before!
Second, great music! I have an endless list of artists, movie soundtracks and musical scores which I listen to while writing. That really helps get in the mood.
