C.A. Clark ("Charlie") was born in 1981 in the Oregonian Willamette Valley. At age 21 she moved to Brazil to teach English, returning later to the United States when she moved to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and studied teaching English at the Boston Language Institute. Other places she has claimed as home throughout her travels include her native Oregon; Long Island, New York, and Charleston, South Carolina, and the Lone-Star State of Texas.

A Woman for All Seasons, she loves everything from frills & finery; guns, cowgirl boots, black leather & bikes; and driving along old country roads, hiking hills and mountains, and spending time in the great outdoors.
