Yes, highlight my pain, why don't you?!! I was staying in a strange flat and I wanted to go out but couldn't work out how to lock the door. I was certain that with my luck the place would be burgled in my absence and I'd have some awkward explaining to do so I stayed in. All the remotes on the coffee table were a mystery to me and I worried using the wrong one might cause aircraft to drop from the sky so I stayed in and wrote a short story.

Hi! I'm such a fan of the Chronicles of St. Mary's books--reading #10 now, and glad to see #11 comes out next year. Do you hope/plan to just keep writing them, or is there an end in sight? I ask because I will need major preparation to wrap my mind around the fact that it might all end!

I absolutely love the St Marys series, and often find myself thinking about how things might have happened in the original universe without Max, Leon or the Time Police. Are Tim and Helen married? Who rescued Markham from the river (I think Miss North would've joined them to keep an eye on her mother) and then was that person rescued without the Time Police. Might there ever be a short update on that universe?
