Normally I don't experience writer's block; this year has been an exception. I have and it hasn't been pretty! The best way I deal with it is to set the manuscript aside and work on something else for a while. It's a good way to clear the brain's cobwebs. Then when you're ready to work on your manuscript again you can see it with fresh eyes.
