Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Jeffree Wyn Itrich Since this is a series I have to answer this question starting with book one. I was flying in a hot air balloon through an strange fog hovering over White Sands, New Mexico. I thought how fantastic it would be if when we landed we found ourselves in the 19th century wild west of New Mexico. That's exactly what happened in book one. Book two follows Rachel's adventures as she makes a life for herself in a time and place not her own, and book three continues her adventures with her new family.
