L.S. Case The mystery of my disappearing reading glasses that play hide-and-seek (and win). I begin each morning with at least a half dozen pairs displayed on my desk. By lunch, they are all--poof--gone! How do they end up in the washing machine? On the refrigerator shelf next to a brown half-eaten avocado? On top of my bird's cage beside his messy sunflower seeds? Imagine my surprise when I find them on my head, holding back my hair. Even more troubling, I sometimes discover that I'm wearing a missing pair! For all the sleuths out there trying to crack this unsolved case, no worries... I buy my glasses at the dollar store, so there's plenty more where they came from!
