Do you or authors you know modify your keyboards to type stories? I have only written a few short stories but I got so sick of the position of " and ? I googled how to change them. It is easy enough that I gave myself … and — as well. The obligatory gushing. Vorkosigan is my favourite series having overtaken Feist and Wurts Empire Trilogy, Jack Campbell's Lost Stars is nipping on your heels.

My children are Elli and Miles (born '95 and '98) ;-) It wasn't deliberate, but we realised after the fact that the reason we loved the names so much was probably because my husband and I are both huge fans of yours. I wonder if you know of many child namesakes of characters? I must say I would quite like grandchildren named Penric and Desdemona but I can't quite see the kids co-operating with that ;-)
