Do you or authors you know modify your keyboards to type stories? I have only written a few short stories but I got so sick of the position of " and ? I googled how to change them. It is easy enough that I gave myself … and — as well. The obligatory gushing. Vorkosigan is my favourite series having overtaken Feist and Wurts Empire Trilogy, Jack Campbell's Lost Stars is nipping on your heels.

I've been typing this way for 50 years; I have no motivation to try to retrain myself at this point.
It is the speed of my making-things-up, not the speed of my typing, that regulates the pace of my production. There are no mechanical aids for the former, alas. It's an extremely oblique process at the best of times.

Hello! I love all of your books, but The Sharing Knife series is my favorite. I first read it while my partner and I were coming out and figuring out dealing with families, and it really helped me during that time. We are planning to make things legal soon, and I'd really like to use the Lakewalker wedding vow from Beguilement in our ceremony and possibly on our announcements. Would that be ok, if we attribute it?

Hi Lois, I've been a fan of all your books from the moment I started reading them. I've been anxiously waiting for any news about your next project. Can you share something about it with us? And do you plan to return someday to the Chalion universe?? Thanks!! :) Rodrigo

How do you approach writing book reviews? I often have a lot to say about a book while I'm reading and reacting to it, but trouble finding the heart of how I felt about it in a short review. I enjoy reading your Goodreads reviews and those of Patrick Rothfuss a lot, and respect your taste. Any advice for those of us who read a lot, but could stand to recommend more?
