Shocked that this is the first book of yours I have read.I can not wait for this pandemic to end so that I can resume volunteering at local used book store attached to Poughkeepsie library. I spent the first 64 years of my life in the Hudson Valley. A year & a half ago I moved to Oregon to be with my son & his family. I love being here but I miss the Northeast, especially in the fall: the smells & the colors & the crisp air that overwhelms after a muggy summer. I just read The Widow's House & I can't thank you enough for bringing me home. How many of your books are in the Hudson Valley?
