Since you won't be writing a sixth book, I have to ask, hopefully you'll answer. Were Brandi and Jamie ever going to get together? As a couple? Or were they only friends?

My author head cannon is that they do get together. Jamie leaves for a few years to study to be a minister, and when he returns, the years of space and maturing helped change their relationship from friends to seeing each other as something more.
