How do you get inspired to write?

Evan Clouse Music and musical performances are very important to me and I draw inspiration from particular songs. Each chapter in the book is a song title and there are numerous other song references (49 to be exact). I love how Quentin Tarantino incorporates music to highlight the dialogue or action in a particular scene ad wondered if I could accomplish that through prose as well. Some may find it gimmicky, but I find it to be inspirational. Plus, if the reader listens to the songs as they are referenced there are frequently "easter eggs" in the lyrics which can give the reader increased insight into the character's mood or motivation.
