Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Evan Clouse Actually, I had a vivid dream about a copper-haired, green-eyed female serial killer. The dream was so vivid, that I spent months developing her as a character complete with her upbrininging, family, friends and motivation to do the dastardly thigs that she does. I incorporated into her character a deep disdain for those in our society who bully, oppress, terrorize and abuse others, including particular religous and political ideologies. After nine months of thinking about her, I decided it was time to give birth to her as it were. Ten weeks later the book was finished and Maddy was born. I'll leave it up to the reader as to whether her presence in the world is a good thing or not.
