I LOVED this book! It's on my Favorite Books shelf, thank you! Every woman read it when released, leading to deep conversations. And then this: I described it to a male coworker: in biblical times women were banish to tents when menstruating, a time of great bonding for them etc. He looked at me w/the straightest face & asked "So it's a period piece?"! Have you heard other clever word plays based on the title/subject?

Just wanting to thank you! I absolutely love this book and even discussed it with my husband, who is a philosophy buff + some interest in religions especially as related to philosophy. Since reading your book, I can't get enough of Biblical fiction AND I have researched the Old Testament, Judaism, ancient times, etc, AND both of those have led to many in-depth conversations with my husband! :) :?
