Fran I have lost all interest in the Reacher series since Lee Child's brother has taken over the writing. The last book (Better Off Dead) was the last straw. There is nothing left of Lee Child's original character and personality and that was what kept me coming back. I don't even know why Lee has allowed his name to continue as the "star" author. Sorry, but I'm done.
RSDhar Andrew Child is Lee Child's younger brother and already writing novels, under his original name Andrew Grant (Lee Child is the pseudonym of James Grant). Lee Child has already minted helluva money with his iconic character, Jack Reacher. But, the brand name (Jack Reacher) is so strong, he doesn't want to let it go in to oblivion. So, he uses his brother to write the novels, with Jack Reacher and keep his trustworthiness, Lee Child is claiming to co-authoring with his brother Andrew. Whereas, in truth, it is very evident from the writing, that only Andrew Child is writing.
Rajesh He's Lee Child's brother. In fact last couple of Reacher books were written by the duo as a team.
Joan Andrew Child is Lee Child's much younger brother. They are 15 years apart. They did an interview together on the Today Show. Lee felt that he wanted the character to continue, but that he was running out of steam, so he is handling the mantle over to his brother who will move Reacher a little closer to the 21st century.
Don Gorman Lee Child said he was turning the franchise over to his brother after three collaborative efforts. I am pretty sure this is the third one. Such a shame, the soul of the Reacher books have been trashed in the last three stories. So disappointing.
Jean Andrew Child (real name Andrew Grant) is Lee Child's (real name James Grant) brother.
