How do you get inspired to write?

Ryan G. Beaty At first it started as a need. I've always had a wild imagination, and even as a kid I sometimes would just fantasize these outlandish tales. Writing was my outlet to set those stories free from my mind so I could just move on. But now it's more of a divinely appointed calling of some sort. As I've gotten older, those stories have become more elaborate and lifelike, and I feel a responsibility to put those stories out into the world. And now, I am writing with the idea in mind of "What will I most proud to have done?" when looking back on my life 20 or 30 years from now.
