Does anyone else think Jason was WAY overdone in this book? It was, "Jason this, and Jason that." And, "Oh look how strong and good Jason is." And, "Piper was so gorgeous, and Annabeth's hair looked like spiders." And, "Percy was scary and uncontrollable, he exploded the toilets. If only he were more like Jason, tsk tsk." I'm seriously mad. Piper looks down on Percy and Jason looks down on Annabeth AND Percy. I'm mad.

Like, Percy always failed and Jason always saved him. And Percy showed great power in the past books. All of a sudden, in this one, he cant save himself. His power was supposed to be stronger. And Annabeth's smartness was never used throughout the book. She is beautiful but Jason and Leo always describe her as "scary" or that spider thing. Plus, everyone loved Jason, like even Athena approved, and she never approves. The first 5 books, I really loved Percy. However, in this book, Percy's sense of humour, sassiness, bravery, and power is not showing. I love Rick Riordan and all, but this was a major mistake. (less)
