Does anyone else think Jason was WAY overdone in this book? It was, "Jason this, and Jason that." And, "Oh look how strong and good Jason is." And, "Piper was so gorgeous, and Annabeth's hair looked like spiders." And, "Percy was scary and uncontrollable, he exploded the toilets. If only he were more like Jason, tsk tsk." I'm seriously mad. Piper looks down on Percy and Jason looks down on Annabeth AND Percy. I'm mad.

Not only was the ending just one big pandering party for the LGBT crowd, but the fight that's been led up to for 4 and 1/2 books by this point is 2 pages long and anticlimactic as heck. And as is already stated, Piper and Jason got ALL the limelight. I don't mind them in the other books (although they are pretty sappy), but they are downright unlikable here. And did I forget to mention that although Nico had a starring role, he spent a majority of it unconscious?(less)
