With the end of the Finishing School coming soon will you be launching a new series based on the characters? I would love to hear what happens in the future with Sophronia, Dimity, Pillover, Soap and Mersey. On a personal note, thank you for writing a young adult series. My 9 year old daughter cannot wait to be old enough to read this series.

Well some of them do show up in different forms and guises (of course) in both my adult series (Parasol Protectorate & Custard Protocol). I have been considering a scheme to give a few of the supporting cast (like Dimity, Agatha, Preshea, etc) their own grown-up novellas. However that would be a few years away and conditional on various other contracted deadlines. I suppose you could say: I'm not ruling it out but I'm not making any promises. I don't like writing checks the internet can't cash.

Dear Gail, Thank you for answering my question! The inconsistencies I noticed are of character stories, example take Sidheag. In Parasol protectorate Sidheag acts like she doesn't know Genevieve but they met at finishing school! Also she said she left school to marry Nial and then heard about the packs betrayal. While in Finishing school, she left because she heard of the packs trouble and the dewan proposed marriage?
