I was wondering if you had watched the Apple series "For All Mankind", what you thought about it and if that puts a damper on your Lady Astronaut books ever becoming a TV show or movie?

I LOVE it. The science and characterizations are so smart.
Tonally, it's very different from my books because it's still Cold War, like the real timeline, while mine has the whole asteroid hitting the Earth thing. That said, yes, it will occupy that "space" for awhile. On the plus side, it means there's an easy comp.

How did you end up in contact with and are you still in contact with Devin from Smarter Every Day? I'd already read Seveneves but I don't believe I'd heard your name before. After watching his rocket video on youtube and hearing you talk about your book, I headed for the local library and have now finished (and quite enjoyed) the first two books of the Lady Astronaut series and have the third one on hold.
