Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

R.M. Ruiz During quarantine, I wanted to write a story for my nieces and nephews to pass the time. But as things got worse in the world, I realized I had become complacent in my walk with Jesus. What had I been doing? I asked for forgiveness and became renewed in my spirit. I wanted to do something for the Lord that would honor him. And just like that, ideas started flowing for my story and it took a whole other direction than I had originally planned. I know this was God. I was led to self-publish. And so I followed my calling.
