What sort of things can you do as a Leech? A few examples? What does a leech feel when using or filling their well?

This is a great question. Magical strength is similar in my world to physical strength in that it's only a part of the equation. You need to know how to use your body or your well in order to get the most out of it. As a result, there are some very old, clever leaches in the world who can't do much in terms of raw power (can't, for instance, level a city wall), but have honed their technique to such a degree that they can find the pre-existing weakness in the wall, knock out the crucial piece of mortar, and watch the rest crumble.
The use (and even just the presence) of the well gives the leach a sort of euphoric high. This is why many leaches become reliant to the point of addiction on their powers.

Enjoyed your little essay here, at least I am assuming the author is you: http://www.poetryfoundation.org/learning/article/178772#article Have referred to it on a couple of GR boards? You are the first author I have encountered who has done this sort of GR conversation with readers. Neat. I'll look for others now. Love your adopted state (VT). Lived there for awhile myself.
