Less a question than a comment. Enjoyed your little essay here, at least I am assuming the author is you: http://www.poetryfoundation.org/learning/article/178772#article Have referred to it on a couple of GR boards? You are the first author I have encountered who has done this sort of GR conversation with readers. Neat. I'll look for others now. Love your adopted state (VT). Lived there for awhile myself.

Yep -- that's me! That article is from quite a while back -- how did you stumble across it? I've done a couple of pieces for tor.com about the application of things I learned writing poetry to the work of epic fantasy. Could only find one of them at a quick glance, though:

Vermont is all flowering this time of year - I'm out in Arizona, though, getting ready for Comicon...
Thanks for dropping the note!

Amazon just cancelled my Kindle pre-order for The Last Mortal Bond. Does your publisher hate me specifically or people in my geographic region generally? :P And is there still a chance that we'll get the paper book (in 2018 or whenever the carrier pigeons finally make it here)?

First off, I'd like to state that I love your trilogy from the first page and finished it earlier this year. I'm actually trying to read it again since I mostly grasped it as a 13 year old and want grab at whatever straws are left. Anyways, what did the Flea mean that he loved Finn, was it love like a brother or romantic love? Also, how would Valyn turn out if Ha Lin hadn't died?
