(view spoiler)[Holy shit man. What a book... I loved it!! I was really sad at the end with what happened to those two. Right after they were finally happy!!
Ok a few questions!
What was Roshins Well and What happened to Axta and Sos?
Meshkent still seemed pretty pissy at the end is there a reason for that? (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[So glad you enjoyed it! It was tough letting go of Kaden and Triste, but hey... not everyone gets to live happily ever after. As for your questions, Roshin's well is still a secret. I might write a book about those two some day, and I want to keep that one in my pocket. Axta and Sos will almost certainly appear again some day in another book. They survive the human wars... And Meshkent only realizes that he's going to escape right at the very, very end, when Kaden is finally carried up on top of the tower... (hide spoiler)]

This series has been a tremendous read. Instantly in my top ten list. The use of character perspective and political intrigue kept everything grounded and somewhat 'messy' (in a good way). Will be be seeing more of Valyn in the future? His development was the most tragic of the siblings for me, and I feel as though he deserves more ink. Was the prologue in Last Mortal Bond a tease?

When you write your books do you make a specific effort to make them different from other books in the genre. Do you sit back and think "everyone does that" and try to be different or do you just let the story flow and if there are some genre similarities, then so what?

When I was young my teacher told me that I was good at writing and that I should do more of it. In my practice I always found myself blocked by one problem and still do today: Defining the different natures of the characters. What they're going to say, how they're going to act or react to a certain situation doesn't seem to flow naturally. How do you do it? and Thank you above all for your amazing work.
