The short answer is I let inspiration come to me. Usually an idea, whether it's for a blog post or an entire novel, just sort of comes to me. Then I obsess over it until I've cranked something out. I've never found that I can force creativity or inspiration. It needs to come naturally. I feel lucky to have these bursts of productivity.
