Hi! I was just wondering, in The Ascendance Trilogy, what do the different accents sound like? Are they kind of like British accents, or American accents, or something different entirely? (Btw, by different accents I mean the accents of the different countries - Avenia, Carthya, etc)

And I enjoy both reading and writing books, so I was wondering: a) What made you decide to write historical fiction along with pure fantasy? b) Is there a completely different mindset you use when you're moving from writing in the fantasy genre to writing in the historical fiction genre?
