Hi Brigid! I've got to start off by saying Defy the night was my first read by you. I grew up loving robin hood and when I heard about your book I knew I had to read it. You did not disappoint, I loved it so much! Here's my question... the chemistry between the two main characters was soo good, will the next book remain YA or are you considering maybe a NA category? A little spice between them would be fantastic!!
Brigid Kemmerer
Thank you so much! I've been getting a lot of inquiries from readers about whether my books will ever get more "spicy." I can say that Forging Silver Into Stars, my next series set in the world of the Cursebreakers, will have a little more romantic time on the page. I'm not done with the sequel to Defy the Night yet, but I can confidently say that it will probably lean in that direction without veering fully into NA or Adult territory. I do still have a lot of younger readers, so I try to write carefully so as to give my older readers the content that they want, while also trying to be mindful that younger YA readers will still want to enjoy the characters and the story without having to read anything they're not ready for. It's a delicate balance for sure, but I'm doing by absolute best. ❤️

Hi Brigid! The Cursebreaker and the Defy the Night books are some of my favourites and so I'm thinking of reading Forging Silver Into Stars and I was wondering if any characters from the Cursebreaker series besides obviously Tycho make any appearances in the book? Specifically Rhen and Harper?

Hi, I loved Sacrifice and how many sacrifices you showed in the story even the one towards the end that made me cry. :) The end was great and like you said in the earlier question on here I'm glad you kept the ending open because it was a good place to stop but you can always go back to it. My question I was wondering about is if James might be an elemental or if you ever thought about making him one?

Hi. I have just finished reading "letters to the lost". It was my first read by you and i hope it wont be the last. I fell in love with your writing and the way you were able to evoke feelings and emotions in me. However, will Rev get his own book in the near future?
